SALISBURY, Md. – A man is behind bars on charges stemming from the July 5th homicide in Salisbury.

The investigation involved 20-year-old Mykii Sellers possessing firearms while prohibited. On Saturday, officers served a search warrant on Sellers’ residence in the 600 block of Truitt Street, leading to the recovery of an amount of marijuana indicative of distribution. It was determined through investigation that Sellers was using the vacant residence next door to store contraband, leading to an additional search warrant being authorized for that residence, leading to the recovery of a loaded 9mm handgun, an additional loaded extended magazine, over six pounds of marijuana, and approximately $65,000 in cash.

Sellers was subsequently arrested and is being held without bond.

Police say this arrest was a direct result of the incident on July 5th. The homicide remains under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call 410-548-4898 or Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776.
