Police: Man falls inside grain silo in Delmar

DELMAR, Del. – Police are investigating after a man was injured in a grain silo Tuesday afternoon.

Delaware State Police tell us that a man accidentally fell a significant distance while working at the silo. He suffered serious injuries and is being flown to an area hospital by DSP helicopter for treatment.

We’re told there does not appear to be any criminal element in this incident.
