One injured in weekend shooting in Accomack Co.

MELFA, Va. – The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left one man injured over the weekend.

Shortly before 11:30 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to a report of a possible gunshot victim at Billies Shisha Lounge & Restaurant in Melfa. A 28-year-old man was located at the scene suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. He was later transferred to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he is reported to be in stable condition.
