Emerging Leader Desen Basaran on Good Morning Delmarva

47ABC – It’s Monday and that means it’s time to introduce you to a new emerging leader!

Desen Basaran is a local Delaware teen who recently competed against over 8 thousand members of the Technology Student Association in the National Stem Conference. The Stem Conference highlights the unique abilities of students in a variety of areas from Engineering, Forensic Science, and Information Technology.

She won 1st place in Essays on Technology and visited Good Morning Delmarva to discuss the honor.

She tells us winning 1st place was unexpected and a surreal experience for her, but she hopes this will inspire others to follow their dreams.
