Crews respond to water rescue in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – Crews safely rescued an elderly woman from the water following a crash Friday afternoon.

Members of the Salisbury Fire Department responded to 106 Milford Street just after 1 p.m. for a report of a vehicle in the pond. It was determined that the vehicle had hit the building and a parked car before driving into the retention pond.

Units were able to quickly remove the elderly patient from the vehicle. We’re told the patient was taken to TidalHealth for evaluation.
