Cooling stations open in Sussex County
SUSSEX CO., Del. – Whenever there’s a forecast or temperatures of 95 degrees or higher, the Sussex County Government likes to remind the public that they have several facilities to find relief from fierce temperatures.
Those locations include the County Administration Building in Georgetown, the Greenwood Library, Milton Library and the South Coastal Library in Bethany. These buildings are open during normal business hours.
All of the locations are air conditioned and have paramedics that patrol to assist the public with help or any health related questions. Sussex County Communications Director Chip Guy had the following advice for those braving the heat.
