Woman sentenced to two life sentences plus 45 years for sexually abusing a minor

SALISBURY, Md. – A woman convicted of sexually abusing a minor learned her fate in court last week.

39-year-old Qwenda Jones was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences plus 45 years for her conviction on two counts of sex abuse of a minor, second degree rape, second degree sexual offense, fourth courts of third degree sexual offense, four counts of fourth degree sexual offense, and four counts of second degree assault.

From October of 2012 through October of 2014, Jones and her boyfriend at the time, Orlando Hill, sexually abused the minor child. The victim was between the ages of 9 and 10 at the time of the offenses.

Hill was convicted of sex abuse of a minor, second degree sexual offense, second degree rape, and related offenses. He was sentenced to 75 years behind bars.
