Wicomico Co. man sentenced to life for sexually abusing minor

SALISBURY, Md. – A man convicted of sexually abusing minors has been sentenced to life plus 25 years.

39-year-old Kenny Vansant was convicted earlier this year of two counts of sex abuse of a minor, second degree sex offense, third degree sex offense, fourth degree sex offense, and second degree assault.

On Friday, a Wicomico County judge sentenced Vansant to life plus 25 years in prison.

We’re told during the summer of 2016, Vansant sexually abused a child under the age of 9. At the time of these crimes, he was on parole for a previous sex offense committed against a child under the age of 7.
