Wicomico Co. drug investigation leads to one arrest
SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury woman was arrested on drug charges following a recent investigation.
Last week, members of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office and Salisbury Police executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1200 block of Nokomis Avenue after receiving numerous complaints about controlled dangerous substance activity at the residence. The search resulted in the recovery of 15 individual bags of crack cocaine, 9.23 grams of heroin, packaging material, and other items indicative of CDS distribution.
Subsequently, a resident, identified as 62-year-old Alberta Pettit, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin and crack cocaine, in addition to related CDS charges. She was originally held without bond but was released on her own recognizance a few days later.
