Third Thursdays set to return in downtown Milford

MILFORD, Del. – Weekend fun will start a day early this summer in Milford. Third Thursdays in downtown will make a return starting next week.

It’s a collaborative effort between Downtown Milford Inc. and several local businesses.

The events will include the same live music, a variety of activities, food, and the opportunity to shop with local vendors. It’s important to note one change this year is that the events will only run through the summer months and will conclude in August.

Organizers tell 47ABC it’s a way to showcase what downtown has to offer and bring the community together. “It’s before the weekend hits and people are always looking for something fun to do in the summertime and so they really do look to Third Thursdays as a way to come together as a community,” Downtown Milford Inc. Director Janne Collins said.

“Everybody’s been so busy with school and work. They take a break, come out, and have fun together.”

The event returns Thursday, June 15th with a Downtown Superheroes theme.
