Talbot Co. sex offender arrested for failing to properly report whereabouts

EASTON, Md. – A sex offender has been arrested for failing to properly report his whereabouts.

Investigators received an anonymous tip back in March via Offender Watch, Maryland’s Sex Offender Registry database, indicating that 43-year-old Gary Pinder was not living at the Trappe residence that he had been reporting to the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office. An extensive investigation revealed that Pinder was actually living at an address in Caroline County.

On Tuesday, investigators obtained an arrest warrant and found Pinder at the Caroline County residence, where he was taken into custody. He was held without bond.
