Selbyville man arrested on drug, firearm charges following investigation
SELBYVILLE, Del. – A Selbyville man is behind bars following a drug investigation that began about two months ago.
The investigation began after it was learned that 47-year-old William McQueeney was suspected of dealing drugs in both Delaware and Maryland. As a result, detectives executed a search warrant on McQueeny’s residence on Hosier Street last week, at which time police found the following:
- Approximately 18.13 grams of cocaine
- Approximately 3.49 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
- Five handguns
- One shotgun
- Three rifles
- Various rounds of ammunition and magazines
- Over $6,700 in suspected drug dealing money
- Numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
McQueeney was taken into custody and held at SCI on a $281,400 cash bond on a list of drug and firearm charges.
