Salisbury man arrested on 6th DUI

SEAFORD, Del. – A Salisbury man was arrested in Seaford early Monday morning on his 6th DUI.

At around 3 a.m., a trooper on patrol saw a gray Toyota Corolla traveling north on Sussex Highway, approaching Brickyard Road, swerving and crossing the lane lines on the roadway. The trooper subsequently stopped the vehicle as it pulled into the parking lot of the Royal Farms located at 8800 Concord Road.

The trooper contacted the driver and sole occupant, identified as 53-year-old Stephen Speight, and smelled alcohol coming from his breath. Speight was arrested and charged with 6th offense DUI and other traffic offenses, and was held at SCI on a $10,002 cash bond.
