Salisbury man arrested for distributing fentanyl

SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man is behind bars following a recent drug investigation.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation into 32-year-old Johmon Handy distributing controlled dangerous substances, specifically, fentanyl. Law enforcement established surveillance on Handy, and a search and seizure warrant was served at a residence in the 700 block of Priscilla Street. The search led to the recovery of 10 individual bags of fentanyl weighing a total of 7.79 grams, a digital scale, and packaging material.

Handy reportedly admitted in an interview that he distributes fentanyl.

Handy was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession of fentanyl, and narcotic production equipment. He is currently being held without bond.
