Salisbury earns risk management award for sixth consecutive year

SALISBURY, Md. – The City of Salisbury has announced that the Human Resource Department has been recognized with the Local Government Insurance Trust’s Risk Management Services Award.

This award recognizes extraordinary risk management and safety standards within municipal governments. The City scored a 100% on LGIT’s Primary Program Loss Control Credit Survey for the sixth year in a row. This survey, we’re told, evaluates a variety of safety standards, including Risk Management processes, inspections, employee training, accident investigations, and other factors. By earning a 100%, the City will receive no further recommendations on how to improve its loss control oversight for the next fiscal year.

The award also comes with a $12,619 credit toward the City’s liability premium.
