Results of Cambridge City Commissioners election

 

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – The City of Cambridge held an election on Tuesday to fill a pair of city commissioners slots.

Wards 1 and 5 were voted on, and the ballots were counted on a live stream hosted on the city’s website.

Unofficial results show that Laurel Atkiss led in Ward 1 with 53.35% of the votes cast in their favor, beating out their opponent Chad Malkus who secured 48.65% of the ballots.

In ward 5 Brian Roche held the lead with 61.94% of the votes while his opponents Cleveland Rippons secured 32.65%, ahead of Robert Aaron who managed to land only 5.8% of the ballots cast.
