Police searching for man wanted in connection to Salisbury stabbing

SALISBURY, Md. – Police are searching for a man wanted in connection to a stabbing that happened earlier this month in Salisbury.

On June 15th, Wicomico County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to TidalHealth for a reported stabbing, meeting with the victim who was suffering from multiple stab wounds. It was determined that the incident occurred in the 500 block of Overbrook Drive. The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Ty’wuan Hunter, was at the residence in violation of a protective order and got into a physical altercation with a female resident. The victim then reportedly responded to check on the welfare of the woman, at which point police say Hunter began stabbing the victim.

Hunter is currently wanted for attempted second degree murder, reckless endangerment, first and second degree assault, and deadly weapon with intent to injure. He also has an additional warrant for his arrest.
