Police arrest third suspect in April murder of Laurel teen
LAUREL, Del. – Delaware State Police say a third suspect has been arrested in connection to the April 14th murder of 18-year-old Corey Mumford.
Detectives identified 21-year-old Shyheem Latham-Purnell as the third suspect involved in the homicide, and on Monday, members of the Maryland Marshals Task Force located Latham-Purnell at a residence in Salisbury, Maryland. He is currently incarcerated in Maryland and will be extradited back to Delaware, where he will be charged with first degree murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, and first degree conspiracy.
Jhalir Henry was arrested on April 21st, while Donregus Holland was arrested on May 18th. Both were arrested in Maryland.
