Pair arrested on firearm charges following Salisbury traffic stop

SALISBURY, Md. – Two men are behind bars following a traffic stop last week in Salisbury.

On June 22nd, deputies stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of North Salisbury Boulevard, identifying the occupants as 19-year-old Kayden Goodwine and 23-year-old Ronjai Wharton. A search of the vehicle and the suspects led to the recovery of a loaded .40 caliber handgun, 9.47 grams of cocaine, a digital scale, and packaging material.

Both were charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and firearm related offenses, and are being held without bond.
