Milford shooting leaves one injured, police investigating

MILFORD, Del. – Milford Police are investigating a shooting that left one injured Thursday evening.

Shortly after 6 p.m., officers were in the area of the Brightway Commons apartment complex when they reportedly heard gunfire. Officers were unable to locate a victim, but discovered that property had been struck.

A short time later, police learned that a 20-year-old male victim had arrived at Bayhealth Sussex Campus via private vehicle. The victim is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries and is listed in stable condition.
