Emerging Leader Jenifer Rayne on Good Morning Delmarva

47ABC – It’s Monday and that means it’s time to introduce you to a new emerging leader in the Delmarva community.

Recently, a Pocomoke Highschool Principal was presented with the Maryland State Education Association’s Human and Civil Rights Award. She also flew with the thunderbirds during the OC Air Show as this year’s “Hometown Hero”.

It was her dedication to making sure her students voices were being heard through the club “Speak Up” which explores the history and culture of marginalized groups that won her the recognition.

Jenifer Rayne stopped by Good Morning Delmarva to share more on what it was like to be honored and recognized for her efforts as an educator.
