Deal Island man charged with sex abuse of a minor in Somerset County

SOMERSET COUNTY, Md. – A Deal Island man has been arrested and charged with the sexual abuse of a minor.

Following an investigation by the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office involving the alleged sexual abuse of a minor, deputies arrested 42-year-old Anthony Joseph Diprima, of Riley Roberts Road in Deal Island, Maryland on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

Diprima was charged with sex abuse of a minor, 3rd degree sex offense, 4th degree sex offense-sexual contact, neglect of a minor, 2nd degree child abuse-member of a household, unnatural or perverted practices, and reckless endangerment. He has been held without bond pending trial.
