Tire Pros looking to honor first responders

SALISBURY, Md. – 47 ABC has teamed up with four Tire Pro locations to honor first responders across Delmarva with the “First Responders Who Make A Difference” contest. From June until November, one first responder will be honored each month. Those eligible include all active EMT, police/law enforcement and fire personnel.

Burnett White Tire Pro Owner Dawn Tilghman says it’s important to take time to take care of those who take care of us.

“They’re the people that touch people first and sometimes good needs and sometimes in their hour of desperation,” says Tilghman, “They’re good people and they make sure everybody matters. Everybody needs good care and they look after those who can’t look out for themselves sometimes. I think that’s what makes somebody a really good first responder.”

Monthly winners will receive a framed certificate and gift basket containing a $39 car wash gift card and two $25 Tire Pros gift cards plus other goodies. Each monthly winner will be entered into the drawing for a Grand Prize of a set of Hercules Brand Passenger/Light Truck Tires valued at $1000 in December. Program sponsors include Dawn Tilghman of Burnett White Tire Pros, Chuck Barnes of Nock’s Tire Pros, Candy Cook of Cook’s Tire pros and Bill Schrider of In & Out Tire Pros.
