Bridgeville man arrested following lengthy drug investigation

BRIDGEVILLE, Del. – A Bridgeville man is behind bars following a several months long drug investigation.

Detectives began investigating 29-year-old Tijrere Baldwin, who was suspected of dealing narcotics throughout Sussex County. At around 6 a.m. Tuesday, detectives executed a search warrant on Baldwin’s home in the 21000 block of Mill Park Drive. Baldwin was taken into custody at that time, and four children that were inside at the time were turned over to a family member.

The search resulted in the recovery of approximately 48.45 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 104 wax baggies containing approximately 0.728 grams of suspected heroin, approximately 3.19 grams of powdered MDMA, over $2,400 in suspected drug dealing money, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.

Baldwin was held at SCI on a $73,500 secured bond on a list of drug charges, as well as four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
