Blades Police Chief injured in confrontation

BLADES, Del. – The Blades Police Chief was injured last week during a confrontation.

We’re told he broke his ankle in three places and had surgery on Thursday. He is currently recovering at home.

Officials say that anyone who wishes to send him a card can do so at the following address: Chief Willey, Blades PD at 20 West 4th Street. It can also be dropped off at Town Hall.
