Air Quality Alert issued for Maryland’s Eastern Shore
SALISBURY, Md. – The Maryland Department of the Environment has issued an Air Quality Alert for Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
People with heart or lung disease, older adults, children, and teens should take steps to reduce exposure, including avoiding strenuous outdoor activities, keeping outdoor activities short, and considering moving physical activities indoors or rescheduling them.
Everyone else is urged to choose less strenuous activities so you don’t breathe as hard, shorten the amount of time spent outdoors, and be active outdoors when the air quality is better.
