2023 OP candidate draw results released
OCEAN PINES, Md. – The Ocean Pines Elections Committee has announced the results of the 2023 Ocean Pines Association Candidate Draw.
The results were drawn at random using a series of playing cards and determine ballot order for the 2023 Board of Directors Election, and the order candidates will be seated during the election forum.
The results are as follows:
- John Latham
- Jerry Murphy
- Elaine Brady
- Jeffrey Heavner
This year, two seats on the Board will be up for election: those currently held by Doug Parks and Colette Horn.
One candidate forum will be held this year, on Wednesday, June 21st at 6 p.m. at the Clubhouse Meeting Room. Questions for the forum can be sent to elections@oceanpines.org.
The deadline for voter eligibility is July 6th. Homeowners are asked to make sure their membership information is up to date, and questions can be sent to rmeyer@oceanpines.org. Ballots will be mailed to homeowners the week of July 11th and are due back by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8th.
Ballots will be counted and totals will be announced on Thursday, August 10th. The annual meeting will be held on Saturday, August 12th.
