Virginia men indicted on murder charges in two separate homicides

ONANCOCK, Va. – Two men have been indicted on charges stemming from two separate homicides in Accomack County.

We’re told 26-year-old Eric Custis Jr. has been charged with second degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony for the murder of 18-year-old Tayvion Smith on December 13, 2019.

Additionally, 34-year-old Vontrell Trader was charged with second degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony for the murder of 41-year-old Jamar Smith on March 6, 2022.

Police are continuing to investigate these incidents.
