Speed limit reduced on Camden Avenue in Wicomico Co.

FRUITLAND, Md. – The speed limit has been reduced on a portion of Camden Avenue in Wicomico County.

The County recently reduced the speed limit from 35 mph to 30 mph between the city limits of Fruitland and Dogwood Drive. This reduction was due to an increase in pedestrian activity, as well as an increase in crashes.

This change will align with the already existing 30 mph speed limit starting at Dogwood Drive that extends into the corporate limits of Salisbury.
