Snow Hill home invasion suspect arrested

SNOW HILL, Md. – A Snow Hill man is behind bars following a home invasion Tuesday afternoon.

At around 4:30 p.m., police received a 911 cal for a home invasion on Maple Street. The victim reported that they heard a knock on their door and saw an adult female and a female juvenile trying to sell cookies to the victim. As the victim had a conversation with the woman, they saw a man walk through the open front door of the home. The man then allegedly assaulted the victim and threatened the victim with a hammer.

The suspect then fled after robbing the victim of his waller, cell phone, and money.

A short time later, officers were able to locate the suspect, identified as Craig Jackson. Jackson was subsequently arrested and charged with home invasion, first, third, and fourth degree burglary, armed robbery, first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, and theft.

Jackson was held without bond pending a bail review.
