Second suspect arrested in April murder of Laurel teen

LAUREL, Del. – Delaware State Police say a second suspect involved in the April homicide of 18-year-old Corey Mumford is in custody.

Detectives identified 28-year-old Donregus Holland of Hurlock, Maryland as a second suspect in Corey’s homicide. On Thursday, members of the Maryland Marshals Task Force and Maryland State Police executed a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of Andrews Street in Hurlock, locating and arresting Holland.

Holland is incarcerated in Maryland and will be extradited to Delaware, where he will be charged with first degree murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, and first degree conspiracy.

Jhalir Henry was arrested on April 21st in connection with the incident.

Mumford was killed in a shooting on April 14th.
