Salisbury University captures NCAA National Lacrosse Championship
Salisbury University secures 13th NCAA National Title
PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Salisbury University Men’s Lacrosse Team defeated No. 1 Ranked Tufts University 17-12 to win the program’s 13th national championship. Salisbury took a 10-4 halftime lead before Tufts mounted a comeback in the second half to cut the lead to 11-9 in the end of the third quarter.
Salisbury’s all-time leading goal scorer Cross Ferrara basically iced the game with just over four minutes left with back-to-back goals to make the score 16-10.
Brice Bromwell led the way with four goals while Ferrara, Luke Nestor, and Jude Brown each had a hat trick.
