Police continuing shots fired investigation in Dover
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are continuing a shots fired investigation that began Monday afternoon.
The investigation began at around 2:40 p.m., when police received reports of a shooting in the area of Saulsbury Road and Forrest Avenue. Initial reports indicated that two vehicles were involved in the incident and had fled eastbound. Officers responded to the scene, and schools in the immediate area implemented safety protocols to ensure students were safe.
Officers made contact with witnesses and canvassed the area, but at this time no victims or suspects have been identified.
