Mardela hands North Dorchester their first loss of the season

MARDELA SPRINGS, Md – Mardela goes down to the last bat to defeat North Dorchester 4-3 to end their regular season. Julia Wisk hits the walk-off base hit for Mardela at the bottom of the 7th.

The Warriors led early 3-1 and held the lead until hit an RBI double at the top of the 7th to tie the game up. Then in the bottom of the inning, the Eagles commit back-to-back errors on force outs, setting up Wisk’s game-winning RBI. Mardela moves to 19-1 on the season. North Dorchester fall to 16 – 1 on the year.
