Drug distribution investigation leads to arrest of Salisbury man

SALISBURY, Md. –  A Salisbury man has been arrested following a drug investigation over the past few weeks.

The investigation involved 47-year-old Tyree Showell distributing controlled dangerous substances from his residence in the 1200 block of Pocahontas Avenue. As a result of the investigation, a search and seizure warrant was executed at his residence on May 22nd, leading to the recovery of 16.72 grams of cocaine, 2.7 grams of which was crack cocaine, a digital scale, packaging material, and marijuana.

Showell was arrested at his place of employment and was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine. He is being held without bond.
