Dover man arrested on drug charges following traffic stop

DOVER, Del. – A traffic stop Wednesday morning led to multiple drug charges for a Dover man.

At around 8:30 a.m., a trooper on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a minivan after it was seen parked in the fire lane in the Rodney Village Shopping Center. When the trooper made contact with the driver, 53-year-old Gregory Dove, it was learned that Dove was in possession of drugs. A subsequent search led to the discovery of approximately 12.02 grams of crack cocaine and 34.52 grams of marijuana.

Dove was charged with multiple drug charges, as well as parking in a fire lane. He was later released on his own recognizance.
