Dover business damaged by gunfire overnight
DOVER, Del. – Police are investigating after a Dover business was damaged by gunfire early Tuesday morning.
Just before 12:30 a.m., officers responded to the area of W. Loockerman Street and South Bradford Street after receiving a report of shots fired. Shell casings were found in the area, but no victims or damage was reported at this time.
At around 8:30 a.m., Dover Police were contacted by CenDel Foundation, located at 101 W. Loockerman Street, reporting that a window was damaged as a result of the shooting. Officers were able to review downtown surveillance footage, which should the suspect as a heavy-set male wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts.
