Cambridge Police seize multiple illegally-possessed handguns

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Cambridge Police say they have seized several illegally possessed handguns in the past week.

Police say they seized a total of 7 illegally possessed handguns from within the jurisdictional boundaries of Cambridge from May 10th through 14th. All of the handguns were located during officers’ interactions with citizens during traffic stops, search warrants, and responding to a domestic assault incident.

The investigations are continuing, and police say further arrests and charges will be pending.
