Police working to identify Laurel burglary suspect

LAUREL, Del. – Laurel Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a burglary suspect.

Police say at around 12:30 a.m. Thursday, a suspect used a tire iron to force entry into the Fulton Bank located at 30204 Sussex Highway. The suspect tried to remove property from the bank but was unsuccessful. He then reportedly fled toward Food Lion.

Roughly 15 minutes later, police say the same suspect used a tire iron to break the south entrance doors to the Food Lion. The suspect fled the scene after the burglary alarm was activated.
