Police searching for suspect wanted for cashing fraudulent check in Salisbury
SALISBURY, Md. – Police are searching for a woman wanted for cashing a fraudulent check in Salisbury.
The incident happened on December 1st at the Farmers Bank of Willards located on Parsons Road. It was determined that the suspect, 23-year-old Tambria Davis, had cashed a fraudulent check for $2,069.72.
On February 2nd, a detective applied for charges against Davis, and a criminal summons was issued for possess/use false government identification, fraud identity theft $25,000 to $100,000, fraud identity theft $1,500 to $25,000, and forgery/private document possession. Davis is currently wanted and her whereabouts are unknown, but police say she could possibly be in Georgia.
