Part of Hickory Hill Road to close temporarily for construction

DAGSBORO, Del. – DelDOT has announced plans to close parts of Hickory Hill Road starting Monday, May 1. The closure will affect Hickory Hill Road between SR 26 (Nine Foot Road) and Hudson Road. Officials are planning to install a cross raod pipe. The closure is expected to last until May 10 (weather permitting).

They have announced the following detours:

Detour: Northbound motorists: SR 26 to Fox Den Road to Gum Tree Road to Molly Field Road, back to Hickory Hill Road.

Southbound motorists: Molly Field Road to Gum Tree Road to Fox Den Road to SR 26, back to Hickory Hill Road.
