Outdoor 3rd Friday returns to Downtown Salisbury
SALISBURY, Md. – The first outdoor 3rd Friday of 2023 returns to Downtown Salisbury on April 21st.
April’s theme is Spring Things, with a chance to celebrate the warmer weather, new growth, and all things spring. Funny Farm Petting Zoo will be back on Main Street with baby animals and barnyard friends that everyone can enjoy, with pony rides available at an extra charge. Plant lovers can check out the Downtown Salisbury Visitor Center’s Houseplant Propagation Swap, where houseplant cuttings can be traded between other local houseplant enthusiasts. Kids can also plant crafts with SU Honors College students and take home pollinator seed bombs.
The North Division Street stage will have live music from Permilla Project from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a springtime preview performance by the Salisbury Children’s Choir at 5:40 p.m. and a Trash Fashion Show hosted by the Salisbury University Environmental Students Association. Additionally, models from the Salisbury School and Salisbury University will showcase beautiful, hand-made garments made completely from recycled materials.
