Laurel Police investigating stabbing incident, says no risk to the public
LAUREL, Del. – Laurel Police are investigating a stabbing incident that happened Saturday. Officials say during a traffic stop near Sussex Highway and Camp Road they found two people in the vehicle with injuries from a stabbing. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment. Police say they located a potential crime scene in a private residence, identified a suspect and took them into custody only 13 minutes after the original stop.
Police say there is no risk to the public as a result of this incident. They also said on their facebook page that no additional information was being released at this time.
