Jackson Holliday gets promoted from Delmarva Shorebirds

SALISBURY, Md – The Orioles have decided to move up 2022 MLB 1st Overall Pick Jackson Holliday up to the Aberdeen Ironbirds. The Delmarva Shorebirds released the news today on Twitter congratulating him on his promotion to the High-A team.
He was starting to heat up with the Shorebirds recently, in his game against the Fredericksburg Nationals Holliday finished with the first multi-homer game of his pro career while driving in four runs for the third time this season. So far in the minors he’s played in 33 games and has 29 runs, 39 hits, 3 home runs, 24 RBIs, and a .339 batting average.
