Fire breaks out at Salisbury house, investigation underway
SALISBURY, Md. – An investigation is underway after a Salisbury home under construction caught on fire early Friday morning.
The fire was reported just after 4 a.m. at 810 Marquis Avenue. Firefighters were able to control the blaze in roughly 30 minutes.
The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation. Due to the house being under construction, there were no smoke alarms or sprinklers.
Total damage has been estimated at $200,000.
