Dover Police investigating shooting that left one injured

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a shooting that injured one late Wednesday night.

Police say a 47-year-old woman arrived at Bayhealth Kent Campus suffering from a gunshot wound to her lower body. Further investigation revealed that the victim was walking her dog on Schoolhouse Lane when unknown subjects began arguing in the area. The victim then reportedly heard several gunshots when she was shot. She was taken by private vehicle to the hospital.
