Dover Council Explores New Security Measures At City Hall Image

DOVER, Del. – The City of Dover held its municipal election today and the results are in.

Incumbent Mayor Robin Christiansen has won another term in the Mayoral Race. While Dr. Julia Pillsbury and Brian Lewis were successful in their bids in the first and second council district races.

Tonight’s election results are as follows:

Mayoral Election

  • Robin Christiansen – 900 (63.11%)
  • Diana Welch – 526 (36.89%)

First District City Council

  • Dr. Julia Pillsbury – 326 (63.92%)
  • Paul Fleming – 184 (36.08%)

Second District City Council

  • Brian Lewis – 252 (55.26%)
  • Donyale Hall – 204 (44.74%)

These are the unofficial results. City officials are expected to confirm the results and vote totals sometime tomorrow.
