Car intentionally set on fire in Salisbury, investigation underway

SALISBURY, Md. – An investigation into a vehicle fire is underway in Salisbury.

Firefighters responded to the 300 block of Gay Street just before 2 a.m. Tuesday to battle a fire in a 2022 Honda Pilot. The fire, which was reported by a neighbor, was quickly put out.

State fire marshals responded to the scene and determined that the fire was intentionally set. Total damage has been estimated at just over $35,000.
