Cambridge man arrested in connection to bank robbery

EASTON, Md. – Easton Police have arrested a man in connection with a bank robbery earlier this week.

Shortly after 12:30 p.m. Monday, a man reportedly walked into the Bank of America and robbed them of an unknown amount of money before fleeing on foot. Investigators were told that the suspect walked into the bank from the Goldsborough Street entrance and confronted one of the tellers, demanding bills in certain denominations to be placed in a bag that he provided. The teller complied, and the suspect fled from the same point of entry. No weapons were displayed or mentioned, and no bank employees were assaulted.

Further investigation led detectives to identify the suspect as 57-year-old Todd Hotzman. He was taken into custody at his Cambridge Commons apartment and remains at the Talbot County Detention Center on no bond on robbery and theft charges.
