Town of Snow Hill announces upcoming election deadlines

SNOW HILL, Md. – The Town of Snow Hill has announced upcoming deadlines for the May 2023 election.

The Town’s general election is scheduled for Tuesday, May 2nd, at the Train Station on Belt Street. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The offices of Central District and Western District Council are up for election this year. Interested candidates must submit a request for an application to Carol Sullivan, Town Hall’s Executive Administrator, at csullivan@snowhillmd.com.

The deadline to submit the application is Friday, March 31st, at 4:30 p.m.

Citizens can register to vote through the Worcester County Board of Elections at 410-632-1320, Worcester.Elections@maryland.gov, or in person at 201 Belt Street, Suite C, Snow Hill, Maryland 21863. The deadline to register to vote is Friday, March 31st, at 4:30 p.m. Those wishing to vote by absentee ballot can call Town Hall or email Carol Sullivan to request an absentee ballot application. The deadline to do so is Friday, April 21st, at 4:30 p.m.
